The Administration of the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital was vested in a Board by an Act of Parliament on 29th December, 1983. Whilst conforming to the Administrative and Financial Regulations of the State, it functions independant of, but in rapport with, the Department of Health. The BoardMr. G. Chandima S de Silva.
