Nov 26 (FT) SL COVID-19 detections exceeded 560,000 with 740 persons testing positive for COVID-19 yesterday. A total of 560,345 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 to date. Nov 26 (TM) The Ministry of Health has stated that the refusal of certain individuals suffering from co-morbidities and the elderly to get the Covid-19 vaccine is one of the main reasons for the increase in the Covid-19 death toll. Another explosion at house in Nikaweratiya

Nov 26 (DM) Another explosion was reported at a house in Kandegedara in Nikaweratiya today due to a suspected gas leak, causing severe damage to the house. COVID figures move up with 26 new deaths and 488 cases

Nov 26 (AD) Director-General of Health Services has confirmed 26 new coronavirus-related deaths for Nov 25, increasing the death toll in the country due to the virus pandemic to 14,258.
