Police order more tear gas and batons

Aug 23 (CT) Sri Lanka Netball selectors have picked an experienced squad for the upcoming Asia Netball Championship, in Singapore from 1-9 September. The only new face in the squad is Ellilenthini Sethukavalar from Jaffna, who has made great progress since joining the pool. Aug 23 (DM) The Govt had failed to release the decentralized budget funds to MPs for the past eight months, the Joint Opposition (JO) said. Hidden costs: The impact of foreign debt on Sri Lankan citizens
