Newbie to Sri Lankan cooking.

Postby Mz Rebecca Thayalan on Fri Mar 27, 2009 1:15 am

Hi all.

My name is Becky, I am engaged to Thayalan, who is from Sri Lanka. We have pne baby girl and I am curently 5 months pregnant. I have been with my partner now fro 5 years. I have always liked Sri Lankan foods, even though at times they can be VERY HOT! I was wondering if anyone has any beginners recipes? I really want to start to learn how to cook, I know it must takes years of practice and knowledge, but I have to start somewhere.

Thanks in advance! ;)

Hi,
Nice to note that you still love sri lankan cooking, yes let us know what yu really want to know of cooking, nothing is hard in life, cooking is nothing but fun, when it comes to taste it has to be right, yes it needs a bit of a practice not 50 yrs of experience its a matter of doing it until yu know how to do it. Simple as that. Start cooking now and let us know how it goes!!
