i really love sri lankan food, but all the dishes i eat at relatives dont have names that enable me to find a recipe for them. i am wanting to do a vegie banquet for a 21st birthday and a list of dishes that are fairly easy to make would be great,

i love 'para pu' cant find a recipe called anything like this
also string hoppers but i dont have any equipment , so does anybody know where around manchester there is any sri lankan shops?
