Custard Sauce
4 egg yolks 4 tbsp sugar 3 tbsp cornstarch {cornflour} 2 tbsp cold milk 4cups Luke warm milk 2 to 3 tsp vanilla essence Mix egg yolk, sugar and the corn flour in a saucepan.Then add cold milk, mixed well till smooth.Later add the Luke warm milk and mix it slowly. Then simmer the sauce without boiling till become thick. Remove from the heat then add vanilla Essene. Serve warm. This sauce can serve with steam sponge puddings, fruit pies, or fruit crumble.
