Hummos with Tahini Dip
2 cloves garlic minced
3 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp hot red pepper sauce
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup tahini paste
Garnish Lemon slices, sprig of corriander leaves or parsley
1. Place chcikpeas in food processor fitted with steel blade. Blend coarsely
2. Add garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, hot pepper, cumin, salt and pepper. Blend in tahini. Puree until as smooth as you wish. Taste adjust seasonings if necessary.
3. Spread hummos in shallow serving bowl and surround with lemon slices and sprigs of parrley or corriander leaves.
