Milked Butter Cup Cakes
125g (4 oz) butter 1. Beat the soft butter with vanilla until light and creamy. Add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. 2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. 3. Stir in half the sifted flour with half the milk. Stir until combined. Add the remaining milk and flour. Stir in lightly until mixture is smooth. 4. Butter some small cups and half fill them with the mixture. Bake in a moderate oven until firm. Turn out and serve hot.
