The simplicity of this cake is hard to believe. This contains no eggs, yet produces a moist cake with a delicious chocolate flavour.
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoonful baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablesp. cocoa powder
1 teasp. vanilla
5 tablesp. melted butter
1 cup of lukewarm water
Combine dry ingredients in an 8" square pan. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
