1 Banana Blossom
3 pieces of Goraka or juice of one lime
1 tbsp of garlic and ginger, crushed to a paste
1 big onion finely chopped
3 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 lb potatoes
1/2 bottle frying oil
4-5 curry leaves
1/4 lb bread crumbs
1/4 lb flour
salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying

Remove some of the outer hard purple petals of banana flower till you see the soft petals & flower. Then finely chop it to a few pieces and put it in the pressure cooker with some salt and goraka.
When it's cooked properly take it out and grind it thoroughly using a blender until you get a soft mix.
Then boil some potatoes, peel the skin and mash it and mix it with some salt and pepper.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan.
Saute crushed ginger-garlic till it becomes soft.
Now add chopped onion, green chillies and curry leaves and saute well by adding salt (Note you have also put salt to the banana blossom and to the potato)
When it becomes soft add chillie powder and mix well.
Now add cooked banana blossom and mix well.
Add the mashed potato to the mixture and mix it well.
You can make the cutlet tastier by adding little bread crumbs while mixing.
For the batter, mix flour with a little salt and add water to make a thin batter.
Make balls out of the cutlet and mix & shape it into oval shaped cutlets.
Dip the cutlets in batter coat it with bread crumbs & fry it in oil.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
