1 medium Cauliflower (medium size) 100g Dhal 1 onion, chopped 2-3 green chilies, chopped 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp curry powder 1- 2 tsp chillie powder salt to taste garlic and ginger, ground to a paste 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp pepper 1 tsp lime juice vinegar
Wash and place the Dhal in a pan. Cook under a low flame, add onion, green chilies, red chillie, turmeric, salt, and curry powder. When the Dhal is boiling, add cauliflower that has been separated into small florets. Increase the water level just enough to cover the cauliflower, and close with a lid. Cook till the cauliflower is tender.
In another frying pan, fry the ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, and pepper together. Add vinegar in the end. Add this to the cauliflower curry, and lime juice. Cook the curry till a creamy consistency is achieved.
*You can add coconut milk powder and more chillie if you like, but it's tasty as is.
