1 1/2lb uncooked prawns
4tbs soy sauce,
1 tbs sugar,
1 1/2tbs sherry
2tbs fresh ginger,chopped fine
1 cup onion,slices lenghwise
Shell and clean prawns,cut into 1 inch pieces. Fry them in 4tbs oil till the colour changes to light red.
Add soy sauce, sugar,and sherry.Continue to fry a few seconds. Add ginger, onions and cook slighthy.
Add a mixture of 1/4 cup water and cornstarch, continue to cook for 2mins stirring slowly.
