Hi! My name is Sisira Chandrasekara. I am a Sri Lankan Sinhalese , Buddhist, from the capital city of Colombo,
living in London,
England,
Great Britain.
I am a member of staff in the Department of Information technology
at Hammersmith & West London College.
I studied at Nalanda College in
Colombo and worked for the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation
and ITN
Sri Lanka.
I did my higher studies in
Electronics & Communications Engineering at the
University of North London.
I am also working as the UK Correspondent for Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation ( National Radio in Sri Lanka) and Sirasa FM which is the most popular Commercial Radio station in Sri Lanka.
My wife Shyama Dodampegama,
is also a Sri Lankan, a past pupil of St.Bridget's Convent in
Colombo 7,
North Colombo Medical College in
Sri Lanka and the Faculty of Medicine
(Ninewells Medical School)
University of Dundee in Scotland.
She is a Doctor currently employed as a General Practitioner (GP) in
North West London.
Sandani Muthuhari is our 11 year old ( 31st January )daughter, in the year 6 of an Independent (Private) School.
My interests are Electronic Media,
Net surfing,
foreign languages,
collecting archives,
Cricket and Travelling
