SAINT THERESE OF THE CHILD JESUS

Saint Therese of the Child Jesus (1873-1897), born at Alencon, France, was the youngest of five girls, all of whom became nuns. Acquainted early with the work of the missions, she made them the object of her prayers and sacrifices. "After my death," she wrote, "I will return here below to help priests and missionaries." "Saint Therese of the Child Jesus teaches us to make our daily Christian life an apostolic offering for the missions." - Pope Pius XII SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS (1227-1274) As the patron of schools, students, and universities, he is ready to help us in the difficult process of learning.
