TWIN BUS BOMBS (99 Sep 22)
Two bombs exploded in buses on the twenty second of September in Meegamuwa and Dankotuwa. As a result of the bomb attacks believed to be by the LTTE 23 civilians including school children have been injured.
One of the buses was parked in the Meegamuwa bus stand when the bomb was exploded. The other bomb attack was in a bus travelling to Kuliyapitiya from Meegamuwa.
These incidents in the wake of the Ampara murders clearly show again the fascist and barbarous nature of the LTTE. Though ignored by the Tamil bishops the LTTE is not reluctant to use innocent Tamil people as human shields and to attack unarmed Sinhala people.
Once again we can only tell the government the NGO's and the peace beggars in general that these murderous acts of the LTTE can be stopped only by defeating the LTTE completely.
