ACCUSED IN SWITZERLAND (99 Mar 03)
One of the accused in the Dehiwala bomb attack case, Kamalakumar Prathapan is in Zurich in Switzerland. This was revealed on Tuesday the 2nd when the case was taken up by the High court judge in Kolomba.
It is said that the government will seek assistance from the Interpol but it is not clear whether the government will request the Switzerland government to extradite the accused.
If the western countries are really against terrorism they should help the Sri Lankan government whether they have extradition agreements or not.
