Korea Importers Association Signs a MOU with Sri Lanka Export Development Board at the EXPO in Colombo

![]() The Korea Importers Association (KOIMA), Korea’s forefront business organization representing the sole interest of Korean importers, will be visiting Sri Lanka for the first time. KOIMA and 15 member companies will be joining the delegation along with the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCI). KCCI is Korea’s largest business chamber and will also be accompanying their member companies. In addition, a few government officials from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and a large number of individual Korean companies will also be in attendance at the Expo. KOIMA, which has approximately 8,500 Korean member companies, will be signing a MOU with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board on 28th March 2012 at the EXPO, with a view to enhancing Sri Lanka’s exports to the Korean market. This delegation is expected to be the single largest Korean business delegation ever to have visited Sri Lanka.
