The people of the North are not prepared to dance to the tune of the LTTE agents the Tamil National Alliance today as they are freed from the yoke of terrorism. President Mahinda Rajapaksa is the true national leader who is accepted by the people of the whole country, said MEP leader and Urban Development and Sacred Area Development Minister Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday. Addressing a public rally held in Boralesgamuwa on Thursday in support of the candidature of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Minister said the people of the north were subjected to torture, detention in barbed wire cages, and extortion while the people all over the country were killed by bombs, decapitated, maimed by the most blood thirsty terrorist Prabhakaran LTTE killer gangs or bombers. But today the people of the North and East were free of the tyranny of the LTTE terrorists and the TNA who were the spokespersons of the terrorist groups cannot fool the people. President Mahinda Rajapaksa is the liberator of all the people of the country as he led the Armed Forces to defeat the terrorist group, he noted.
