These are the same forces that were behind LTTE terrorist leader Prabhakaran, Foreign Employment Promotion Minister and Government Defence Spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella told the Daily News yesterday.

Those forces who were earlier co-operating with the terrorist leader Prabhakaran are spreading false propaganda at the Presidential Election campaign to fulfill the needs of the terrorists, he said.

Some NGOs also working with the Opposition were spreading propaganda abroad that there was election violence taking place now and their objective was to bring disrepute to the country to please the terrorists abroad.

Conspiracies against the country had come with different faces at different times from foreign elements and the main objective of such elements was to destabilize the country by attacking it he noted.

At present the group supporting the NDF candidate were those who had stood with Prabhakaran before the terrorist group was defeated. We will soon give the details of the activities of those conspirators, he also said.
