President Mahinda Rajapaksa inaugurated the construction of the first Phase of Colombo outer Circular Highway from Kaduweal to Kottawa with financial assistance from JAICA on 7th December. He ceremonially opened the plaque and inspected the road development project and sites closer by. Later President Rajapaksa attended the publicity rally organised by the local politicians for the upcoming Presidential election at Kaduwela junction. After he addressed the large crowds gathered at the meeting, one old mother look like SLFP life time supporter wearing blue colour saree walked on to the stage and blessed him. Pix by: Sudath Silva
