President Rajapaksa opens the Ruwanpura Technical Science Faculty

President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared open the Ruwanpura Technical Science Faculty at Ratnapura this afternoon on the 10th November. He joined the opening ceremony as the chief guest with Education Minister Susil Premjayantha, Youth Affairs Minister Pavithra Devi Wanniarachchi, Minister of Power and Energy John Senevirathne and many local politicians from Sabaragamuwa Province.

Speaking at the ceremony, President said that the country desperately needs the youth to help the current development process and requested them to join the work force as soon as they finish their higher education. The President further requested the youth to safeguard the freedom gained with strong dedication and supreme sacrifices made by members of the valiant Armed Forces.

Ruwanpura Technical Science Faculty is a teacher training college with new facilities in IT.
