Customs to decide fate of mystery urea shipment

Jul 16 (Island) The Customs would decide what to do with a urea shipment weighing 9,795 tons that arrived at the Colombo Port on Wednesday long after the government banned agrochemical imports, after their inquiry was over, Customs Spokesman, Deputy Director Sudaththa Silva said. Jul 16 (CT) The monthly poverty line had its highest jump both in percentage and numerical terms in at least 11 months, increasing by Rs 56 (1.08%) to Rs 5,233; May 2021 over April 2021, available Census and Statistics Department (CSD) data released on Wednesday showed.
