Rail gate keepers to strike from today

Oct 31 (ITN) The All Island unsafe Rail Gate Keepers Association says that they will launch a continuous strike from midnight today. They said that they would launch the strike as the Govt so far did not give the 5,000 rupee salary increment as promised. Albino turtle’s body parts found in well

Oct 31 (CT) A special team from the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) has been able to find the missing body parts of an albino turtle, which was reportedly gone missing in Dec 2013 from the Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Centre. The body parts were found inside a dilapidated well in the Dikwella area on Oct 29. The Police was tipped off by one of the suspects, who had been arrested.
