Ruvini Dunuwila

Ruvani has started singing since she was 10 years old. She won the first place at an inter-school singing contest in the district of Kandy, at the age of 12, with music backing by "Seac Entertainments". While singing for this band, Ruvini was successful in becoming a Graded Professional Singer of SLBC. She was also the female vocalist of "Fortunes" led by Stanley Peiris.

In 1980, Ruvini has released her first four songs including a duet with Gratien Ananda, as a LP record named "Sinaha selu". Then, she went on releasing more original songs through a cassettes "Ranin maala" in 1982, "Gang there" in 1992, "Santhosha wanna" in 1994, and a CD "Yati sithin mama aadare soyami" in 2005. She has sung duets with famous singers including Ranil Mallawaarachchi, Keerthi Pasqual, Mervin Perera, Nimal Jayamanna. Ruvini has also worked as a TV Presenter and acted in several Teledrama. In addition, she also became the 3rd runner-up at Miss Sri Lanka contest.
