Roshan Shrimantha Linthotage

Roshan started learning Eastern music from Malcolm Fonseka, when he was 16 years. Then, he has learnt the ABC of Western music from Keerthi Pasqual. He went on learning both vocal as well as instruments including guitar.

He established the band, "Be Sharp" in Melbourne in 1997. He recorded his first set of original songs in 1998, including his hit song "Ahinsakaavee". In 2005, Roshan released his first CD under the same name containing 15 songs. Another popular song of Roshan is "Aduru thumane", written by Sunil R. Gamage and music composed by Rohana Weerasinghe. Roshan's current projects include composing more original songs with his own lyrics and melodies.
