Round Table started with just one man's idea. Louis Marchesi was a member of Rotary in Norwich but had the brainwave of starting a new organisation for young men between the ages of 18-40.

Round Table was born with the motto 'Adopt, Adapt, Improve' and from small beginnings of one club in Norwich, Louis' dream has become a reality, with over 3,000 clubs Worldwide and over 300,000 members.

For example Round Tables operate individually but with a common cause, and together they form Round Table International. But that's not all.. Round Table exists throughout the world and has links with like-minded clubs internationally.

Welcome to our official web site and the wonderful world that is Round Table with over 1,100 clubs across Great Britain and Ireland and links to thousands of members on 40 countries across the globe.

We have the F-factor! Fun, Friends and Fund-raising and lots of people up and down the UK and Ireland are having the time of their lives while at the same time helping their local communities simply because they joined Round Table.

As well as organising local events for charity The Round Table Club has worked hard to raise money for National causes such as ChildLine, The Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow trust and the BBC's Children in Need with our famous Toddle.

And we have loads of Fun! Many Tables organise some great things to enjoy, for example Go-Karting, buggy racing, water skiing, clay pigeon shooting, summer barbecues for all the family and many other great social occasions.

You won't just expand your horizons... you'll expand your circle of friends.

Round Table is for men and we have a joint organisation for women called Ladies Circle. These two great clubs work hand in hand to ensure each and every member enjoys themselves. Round Table and Circle is all about families, it's all about friend and above all it's about making sure everybody around us is having the best time they can.

Becoming National President was the second greatest thing I have done in Round Table. Becoming a member of Round Table was the GREATEST thing I've ever done. My whole life and that of my family has changed for the better and I know that I've been able to put a little back into my community because of my involvement.
