This Web site has been designed as a very special Project by the Colombo Round Table No 1, (CRT1) to give you a very simple and concise introduction to the interesting and fun world of "Round Tabling". Round Tabling is a very old movement in the World (since 1927) but is new to Sri Lanka, which began with the chartering of Colombo Round Table No.1 on 19th March 1994. Ever since CRT1 was formed, we have been busy in organising Community Service Projects, Charity Fund Raisers and Fellowship events and managed to in such a short period charter a 2nd Round Table in Sri Lanka in Sept 1996. Now, 3 years on, we felt that the time was now ripe to "Extend" Round Tabling to major cities out of Colombo. This site is meant to act only as a "basic guideline" and will benefit new members joining a Round Table, or even a group of young persons enthusiastic about forming a new Round Table in their town or city.
